Professional Boundaries and Conduct

Frog Rock Consulting is committed to supporting safe, respectful, and productive workplace environments.

All engagements are conducted with an expectation of:

  • respectful and professional communication

  • openness to feedback and collaboration

  • a commitment to improving team dynamics and workplace culture

Bullying, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour directed toward any staff member, including the consultant, will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of the engagement.

Engagement

Working with Frog Rock Consulting is a practical, collaborative process focused on people, communication, and how your team functions day to day.

No two clinics are the same, so every engagement is tailored. What stays consistent is the approach — honest observation, open conversation, and clear, actionable outcomes.

I don’t come in with a pre-written program or a set of assumptions. I take the time to understand how your clinic actually operates — the strengths, the pressure points, and the dynamics that sit underneath it all.

What you can expect

Each engagement is built around your clinic’s needs, but generally includes a combination of:

  • on-site observation of workflow, communication, and team dynamics

  • one-on-one conversations with team members

  • identification of gaps, pressure points, and opportunities

  • practical strategies that can be implemented immediately

  • clear, written summaries or recommendations where required

The focus is always on creating a workplace that feels more structured, more supported, and easier to work in — for everyone.

A people-first approach

This work is not about business formulas or chasing productivity at the expense of your team.

It’s about understanding the people doing the work — particularly your veterinary nurses and support staff — and making sure they are supported, heard, and able to perform their roles effectively.

When the team functions well, everything else follows.

Working together

Successful outcomes rely on open communication and a willingness to look honestly at how things are currently operating.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin. In fact, most clinics don’t.

What matters is a shared commitment to improving the environment for your team and your clients.

Respect and professionalism

All work is carried out in a respectful and professional manner.

I work closely with teams, often in high-pressure environments, so maintaining a safe, constructive space is essential. This includes clear communication, mutual respect, and a zero-tolerance approach to bullying or inappropriate behaviour.

If you’re considering working together

You don’t need a perfectly defined problem.

If something feels off in your clinic — communication breakdowns, tension within the team, unclear roles, or simply a sense that things could be working better — that’s a good place to start.
